Region 2 Gambling Awareness Team

Our goal is to raise awareness to understand and address problem gambling by:

  • Integrating gambling awareness into all prevention programs in the region across the lifespan

  • Gathering region-specific community awareness and readiness data

  • Providing gambling-specific educational presentations and trainings

  • Engaging youth in the implementation of peer-to-peer education that addresses gambling awareness

    • Why? Screening Day is an international movement designed to support providers in the identification of Gambling Disorder, bringing awareness to the necessity of screening clients and community members to better understand problem gambling in our communities.
