Grant Opportunity: The Underage Nicotine Prevention Program (UNPP) Community Mini Grants

The Alliance for Prevention and Wellness is excited to announce the release of the Underage Nicotine Prevention Program (UNPP) Community Grant opportunity. The UNPP Community Mini Grants are designed to support local, community-driven efforts aligned with two core goals.

🔹 Goal One: Decrease nicotine use among individuals under the age of 21
🔹 Goal Two: Increase community capacity to address nicotine use among individuals under the age of 21

Through prevention, education, and capacity-building strategies, this program seeks to empower communities to create healthier environments for young people in South Central CT.

We encourage eligible organizations and community partners committed to youth health and nicotine prevention to explore this opportunity and consider applying. Both the Mini-Grant Announcement/Application, which provides a summary of the grant deliverables itself, and answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are linked here. Applications are due by: Friday, March 20th, 2026.

This funding opportunity is made possible through the JUUL Settlement Funds, with support from the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (CT DMHAS) and will be administered by APW.
